Any old phones
Posted by Ciaran Tobin on 20 February 2014
The club is starting a campaign to get a defibrillator for the use of all our training groups within the club itself. We are also hoping to train members in the use of this defibrillator. To do so we need to gather 300 old or used phones to acquire this machine through thehttp://www.fones4life.ie/ campaign. We would like to ask all our members including friends, parents and work colleagues to pass on any old phones that you may have lying at home or work. You dont need to have the charger or battery, just the phone. All information can be found on their website and we will hopefully have posters, leaflets and collection box available by next week. In the meantime we can get the ball rolling on this. I myself already have three ready to go. So can you all please spread the word and start bringing any phones that may have or can collect to your weekly training sessions and pass onto one of the coaches.
Cheers everyone and keep up the good work !!!
