Big improvement for Robert Farrell

"Well what can I say what a fantastic day and race the Donadea50km is. Last year was the 1st time I did it and of all the races I ran last year it was my favourite and this year didn't disappoint. There is something magical running in Donadea forest, there's a calmness about it which I love. It's just you, Mother Nature and your mental strength. The race went brillant. It's made up of ten 5km loops which I like as you can break it down into loops. I thought I was in trouble at the 35-40km mark but I dug deep and finished the last 10km very strong. I don't know where it came from but it did. I crossed the line in 4:14:33 that was 20 minutes faster than last year. You gotta be happy with that. That was marathon/ultra number 13 today and it certainly wasn't unlucky. I think you make your own luck."
