Philip McNally a young local man and his sidecar partner Hughie Smith were seriously injured in a a motorcycle racing incident at Mondello Park in April. Philip who took part in numerous multisport and adventure racing events in recent years. He took part in fundraising projects for many local causes.

The injuries Philip sustained will require major livng and lifestyle adaptations to enable him to return home. He  is undergoing a rehabilitation programme at the National Rehabilitation Hospital, Dun Laoghaire having spent his initial hospitalisation at the Mater Hospital. We hope his progression to recovery continues in the spirited manner which he has been showing.

Thank you to the participants and sponsors of Braverheart 2019 whose support has enabled our club to contribute to the fund which his great friend Tosh Barry has set up. Fundraising efforts continue through a GoFundMe page and numerous projects including John Magees photographic auction and the Ride Around Ireland.
