Caoimhe and Jennifer succesful at Leinsters

Leinster results Day 1

Well done to all who competed to-day in the Leinsters in Athlone to-day
We had 6 competing today:

U/12 
Kallie Larkin
Kallie competed today in the 60m sprint. waiting patiently all day her 60m sprint was up 
With 36 competing and 5 heats, Kallie was in the last heat.
She went off with a bang and got a time of 9.78
Well done Kallie

U/13 Girls
Robyn Larkin
Robyn cometed in the Long Jump and 60m sprint to-day
With 53 competing and 7 Heats for the 60m, Robyn was again in the last heat
She came home with a time of 9.53
Her Long Jump was quite a long wait between each jump as there were 36 in total.
Robyn jumped a 3.30 jump
Well done Robyn

U/15 Girls
Sarah Caulfield
Sarah competed in the Long Jump and 60m Sprint
With 25 competing and 4 heats for the 60m, Sarah was in the 2nd heat
Sarah got a cool 9.06 time
Her Long Jump again was quite a long wait with 23 competing in total
Sarah jumped a great 4.03
Well done Sarah

U/16 Boys
Jack O'Donnell
Jack competed in the 1500m
With 16 competing and all starting on the line, it was a difficult one to get out early
Jack came in with a time of 5.15.06
Well done Jack

U/17 Girls
Jennifer Nugent
Jennifer competed in the 400m & 60m sprints to-day
Jennifers 400m was up first where she ran in a straight final.
the nerves were strong to-day but jennifer ran a superb race and claimed the bronze medal and to 
top it off, she came home with a new PB of 1.01.97
Her 60m was later and with 2 heats, Jennifer was in the 2nd heat, and wit 3 false starts, the race finally began
Jennifer came in with a time of 8.88
Well done Jennifer

U/17 Boys
Patrick Brophy
Patrick competed in the 400m to-day
Patricks 400m was up and with 2 heats, Patrick was up in the 2nd.
He put on a great performance where he landed himself in the final.
With the final quite a while after and not fully recovered, he had a fantastic race where
he just missed out on a medal but came home with a PB of 54.25
