Trim mens team took three team prizes from the Bohermeen Half Marathon on Sunday. They topped the overall club competition beating Carrick Aces the club of race winner Yared Darese on countback with Raheny Shamrock AC in third. Our fourth place finisher was 10 places ahead of the 4th man home for Carrick. this demonstrates the importance of every place counting in a team competition. Trim winning quartet of Sean Murphy, Ernest Asensio Blasco,Tom Feely and Quinton Bourke also took the county club championship on a fantastic score of 14 points helped greatly by a clean sweep of 1,2,3 in the mens county championship by Sean,Ernest and Tom and Quinton winning the M40 grade. Two other runners came into the frame for the winning of the Rennicks Cup ( a six man team competition) with M40 third placer Kieran Corcoran and M50 second placer Mick Counsel counting towards the score.

In the overall womens team competition our women finished third behind Brother Pearse and Raheny Shamrock. The Meath County title was won by our team of Leonie Dyar, Petrina Kennedy Edwards,Helen Hartnett and Ciara Delany Stewart on 48 points ahead of host club Bohermeen AC and Navan AC.

In the overall results Sen Murphy was 3rd M45 and Mick Counsel was 2nd M50.
