Collinstown second for Ellen

Ellen Vitting continued her great season of duathlons and triathlons with a great performance at the Tri an Mhi sprint distance triathlon last Saturday. The race which started with a 750m swim in Collinstown lake was followed by a cycle stage around Fore, Castlepollard and back to transition 2 on the lakeshore which took the athletes out on a 5km run in excellent weather conditions. She completed the course in 1h11m01 to finish second to Grace Kelly from 3D Triathlon Club. Other members of Trim AC taking part were Elizabeth Payne , 1,28,52; David Hawcroft, 1.30.48;Ali Thomas,2.00.11.
