On 27 July Moira Peppard finished her T&F season on a winning note. Last spring Moira began her first season in the W50 category. She set new championship best performances for her age group for 60m and 200m in both the Leinster and All Ireland indoor masters at AIT Arena. On the June bank holiday she transferred that winning form to the Leinster outdoors where she again set Championship Best times.
At the national deciders she broke Ann Maguires records for W50 100 metres and 200 metres in times of 14.21s and 30.15s respectively.
