From Carrigaline to Hamburg

In Hamburg Ulrike Strubing was very pleased to record a time of 3;41;53. An excellent result and reward for great training over the winter.

 

The final round of the national duathlon series took place on Saturday 27 April at the Phoenix Park. Ellen Vitting put in another strong performance to finish second to Becky Woods in a time of 60m29s. Ernest Asensio Blasco ran 65m50 for 4th in AG while Trevor McDonnell got his multi event season off to a start coming home in 80m58s. 

In the London Marathon Sean Murphy ran a very good time of 2;49;42 and Quinton Bourke put his recent injury woes behind him to clock 3;04;36

On Sunday Morning Kathleen Roddy and Ann Marie Quinn headed to Cavan for the "Run With Catriona"  Their times were 28;27 and 30;40 respectively. Travelling south for the Carrigaline Running Club 25km Train Run (on the old Cork-Carrigaline rail road were Claire McEntee, 2;50;11 and Lucinda Williams,2;50;12. They were part of a team raising funds for Crumlin Childrens Hospital.

WELL DONE EVERY ONE.

We have juvenile and adult training groups. We cover track and field, cross country, road running and trail/ mountain running. Club coaches have undertaken Athletics Ireland coaching courses and many of them bring years of experience and knowledge to share with members.
