Galway Bay 10km 1/2 and Full

The annual Galway Bay Races brought many runners to the western capital last weekend. Three different distances, 10km 1/2marathon and full marathon are contested in this event which takes runners along the Claddagh/Salthill area.
First home for Trim AC in the half marathon was Sean Murphy,121m47s then Gearoid Rogers,143.44, Anita Rogers,150.25 and Jane Murphy,151.30.
In the full marathon Barry Clarke recorded a time of 3.37.51. Barry will now turn his attention to the task of race director for the excellent Longwood 10km on Sunday 18 October which Trim AC helps Longwood CLG to organise.
In the 10km race in Galway Angela Bourke ran 51m08.
