Leinster Indoor win for Shane on day 2

2nd Girls U19 4x200m relay team Olivia Gonsalves, Caoimhe Rowe, Esha Hughes and Zoe McEvoy. 

5th Girls U18 4x200m relay team Jennifer Nugent, Jenna Gonsalves, Esha Hughes and Zoe McEvoy

 

Both teams had to qualify from the heats to reach the final.  The girls U19 have qualified for the Nationals.

 

Shane Aston finished off the last 3 events on Day 2 of the Heptathlon to add the Leinster title to his national indoor combined events and national high jump successes of recent weeks. His results were as follows 60m -7.29 Long jump - 6.70 shot - 12.30m high jump -2.00m 60m hurdles - 8.31 pole vault - 4.10m 1k - 3.01 total was 5151

Join our club

We have juvenile and adult training groups. We cover track and field, cross country, road running and trail/ mountain running. Club coaches have undertaken Athletics Ireland coaching courses and many of them bring years of experience and knowledge to share with members.
