Claire Smith put in a great performance at Belvedere House in the 3rd round of the Mullingar 5km series. She clocked 21.10 to finish 1st in the W40 category (the day after her 20.28 effort at Na Fianna 5km.
Big numbers from Trim at the Bob Heffernan 5km
Well done to all those who took part in the Bob Heffernan 5km organised in fine style by Na Fianna AC on Tuesday night. David Hawcroft won the M70 grade and the womens team finished an excellent 4th. The popular Na Fianna event attracts the cream of Irish distance runners to commemorate Bob Heffernan the Rathmolyon native who was a founding member of the south Meath club.
