Meet and Train CC League

Its great to have the womens meet and train league back up and running. Trim AC fielded 2 squads for this season.
Round 1 took place at Tallaght where the local club laid out a very good course in Tymon Park adjacent to the National Basketball Arena. A nice mixture of gentle hills on a very good surface. Leonie Dyar led our A team home in 13th spot. Mary Carr, Irene Curley, Ann Tobin and Avril O'Neill Winters scored 160 points.
Day 2 saw the action move just a few kilometres down the road to BallyBoden St Endas where the host club was Brothers Pearse AC. There were a few extra Trim runners on duty with Audrey McHale McDonnell,Sharon Costello,Anke Hannuka & Marcella Gibney joining the action. Leonie movied up to 12 place in this race and the team scored 3 points better than day 1 with a total of 157.
Heading into round 3 at Abbotstown on 10 March our A team is lying in 8th places out of 27 teams.
