Moira Groome makes Euro masters semi

The European Masters Indoor T&F championships took place in Madrid between 19-24 March.
Trim athlete and coach Moira Groome travelled to these championships for her first competition at this level. She ran 8.9s in the W50 60 metres in the semi final and was just outside a final spot. She was also part of the Irish W50 relay team which was fifth and just outside qualiying for the final. She found these championships a great learning experience and may take on the 200m as well as the 60m and relay when the world masters takes place in Prague next year.
