Tom Feeley made the trip to Dumshambo over the weekend and put in a great run to break the foty minute mark over 10km for the first time. He completed the Tony McGowan 10km road race in 39,49s.

In the Duleek 5km Barry Clarke ran 21.30 for 4th in M40 and Brian Cully was similarly placed in M50 with a time of 22.18.

In Narraghmore Co Kildare the first of the spring duathlons organised by Athy Tri Club took place on Sunday. Denise Molloy went stage further than last weeks age group placing at Ravensdale by getting onto the rostrum for second woman overall.

Join our club

We have juvenile and adult training groups. We cover track and field, cross country, road running and trail/ mountain running. Club coaches have undertaken Athletics Ireland coaching courses and many of them bring years of experience and knowledge to share with members.
