Spring Half Marathon win for Sean Murphy

The Spring Half Marathon hosted by Bohermeen AC took place on Sunday 12 March. The race incorporates the county half marathon championships.
Once again there was a great turnout by Trim runners. Sean Murphy took the mens title with a very strong 74 minute run and a comfortable winning margin. The club also had success in team and age categories. Quinton Bourke M40, Breda Deery Harris W 40 and Mick Counsel M50 won their respective age groups. Barry Harten, Heather Carty,Declan Swords won their first ever county road race individual medals, Helen Hatnettt was also very impressive getting up for second in age group in her club debut .Audrew McHale got her first county medal as part of the ever improving womens team.
