Well done to the staff and pupils from St Michaels NS who took part in the qualifying races for the Meath Athletics Board primary schools cross country championships.
The 2014 championships will be staged at Fairyhouse racecourse on Friday 14 March at 11 am.
The St Michaels qualifiers were
2nd class.
1. Harry O'Connor (2) Matthew O'Connor (3) Devon Moyles (4) Eamonn Yeates (5) Joshua Fitzmaurice (6) Josh Ayton. (7) Senan Hilliard (8) Maciej Korba
3rd and 4th .
1. Ciaran Caulfield (2) Mark Winters (3) Kacpar Chilinski (4) Alan Costello (5) Tadhg Carty (6) Donal McGale (7) Kyle Gilligan (8) Finn Mahon.
5th and 6th

The categories and distances are as follows 1/2 classes 600m;3/4 classes 800m;5/6 classes 1000m.
