Success in Pink n Gold

There was a great turnout from thoughout North Leinster and Ulster in Cootehill, Co Cavan for the Attracta Doherty Memorial PINK N GOLD TRIATHLON. The race which was organised by Kevin Doherty along with CavanKayakRun, Muckno Tri Club and Cavan Tri raises valuable funds for cancer related charities and causes in the north east region. Well done to all who pull together to ensure the continued success of this event.
Tri An Mhi club was well represented at the event again this year. They got the numbers out to support the cause which is so closely associated with Kevin. (a constant at Tri an Mhi events taking photos which capture each race and racer very well)
Ellen Vitting 2nd in the triathlon with a time of 77m19s.
Kieran Corcoran was 6th man home in the tri in 75m06s.
Quinton Bourke winner of the Pink n Gold 5km on a testing course of mainly forest trail.
Ann Tobin 4th woman in the duathlon in 76m07s
