THAT'S NICE
Since 2007 our local newspaper the Meath Chronicle has honoured the achievements of local sports people and clubs with the MEATH SPORTS AWARDS.
Sports Editor Conall Collier, Jimmy Geoghegan and Fergal Lynch in their work with the Chronicle provide much appreciated coverage and publicity for our sport. It is vital that the public reciprocate by continuing to support and buy local newspapers. WE NEED LOCAL MEDIA.
TRIM AC has two of its members among the 2018 nominees.
Harry Purcell had a very succesful indoor season on the US collegiate circuit in the colours of Villanova University and was rewarded with selection as Monthly Winner for February 2018. Harry won the Young Athlete Award in 2014.
Ellen Vitting had a year of outstanding triathlon results including the Triathlon Ireland National Series championship title. She also performed well in duathlons, cross country and road races. Ellen is nominated for the Outstanding Achievement Award.
