Trim AC Event - Running Talks and Q&A Session

A night of talks and giveaways with BRITA Ireland. Shane Finn from Dingle in County Kerry recently ran 24 Marathons in 24 Days around Ireland. In the process for completing this endurance challenge, Shane & his team raised over 142,000 euro for Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus Ireland. An event that captured the attention of the nation & raised much-needed awareness & funds for a charity very close to Shanes' heart. However things were not to finish there! Shane is currently preparing to cross the USA in 36 days, a mix of ultra bikes and ultramarathons will present Shanes biggest test to date. The American Ultra starts from the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco on March 29th & finishes on the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City on May 3rd!
Trim AC’s very own super legend David Hawcroft has agreed to tap into his vast experience and provide his take on keeping fit as we age. David continues to have success at all race distances and his sage advice will be of interest to runners at all levels.
To keep everything on track, Trim AC athlete Ellen Vitting will chair the event.
