Community Groiups and notable individual achievements honoured by Trim Municipal Council.
Trim Municipal Council presented its annual Civic Awards at the Castle Arch Hotel, Trim on Thursday 10 October. The awards are presented by the council to convey appreciation to Groups and Individuals on their achievements on behalf of Trim Municipal District & the people of County Meath.
Trim Athletic Club members Shane Aston and Ellen Vitting were among this years award recipients. Their sporting achievements of recent years and in particular their national titles in 2018 and 2019 were noted in their citations.
Thank you to the elected members and staff of the council for organising this event recognising the role of sport, community involvement and activity in making Trim and south Meath a nicer,better place to live in.
