U10 four star effort

The biggest attendance ever at the county juvenile cross country relays last Sunday. The fixture which was switched from late December to Sunday 3 November proved popular.Clubs from throughout the county turned out in force at Bohermeen for the novel event which gave many youngsters who are not out and out distance runners or cross country specialists the opportunity to get involved in a very exciting team event. The cross country setting and the 250 metres loop in a natural bowl on front of the stately Ardbraccan House was an ideal combination for excitement. The Trim under 10 boys continued their spell of good results this season when taking third spot in the second race of the day. The team were Evan Gaffney, James Nangle, Andrew Brady and Tadgh Carty. Well done lads looking forward the the indoor relays already!
