Under age cross country success

The county even ages cross country championships were hosted by the Star of the Sea athletic club in Stamullen last Sunday. There was a good turnout by the club with four teams getting among the medals. A number of our athletes ran into the selection spots for the county teams which will contest the Leinster championships at Dunboyne on Sunday 27 October. Well done to all our young runners and the best of luck to them next Sunday when they take to the fields of Freyne near Athboy for the second day of the county championships, the uneven ages U/11, U/13, U/15, U/17.
