RUN THE LINE 2019
Run the Line’ is a fundraising event for Dublin Wicklow Mountain Rescue Team (DWMRT), which took place on Saturday 16 November 2019. The event consistsed of two separate races (13km and 26km) across the Dublin Mountains, starting and finishing in Glencullen Adventure Park, and taking in many spectacular locations along the way offering breath-taking views of Dublin.
Trim AC once again was well represented in the event. Trevor McDonnell ran the short course race and finished in a time of 1.15.50. In the long course 26km race Andy Linsley led our runners home in 2.30.17. Kevin Higgins clocked 2.32.56, Shane Parkinson, 2.40.52;Darren Maher,2.41.25;Barry Harten,2.47.27;George Craig,2.53.00.
ADVENTURE SERIES AWARD
Another national award for Ellen Vitting. She topped off a great season of adventure races with with 2nd in Westport Sea2Summit. This result combined with wins at Kenmare, Glendalough and Killarney earned her second overall in the national series.
