Stephen Keane has finished 22nd in his age group in the Madrid International Duathlon.It was his first time in the national colours making his age group international debut for Tri Ireland
Paula Hegarty winner of 5km in Kilkenny on Sunday. Husband Paul came in 2nd male.
Linda Lewis 2nd woman in Curraghmore 5km which took place near Mullingar on Sunday.
Well done Quinton Bourke who rana new pb of 2.59.18 in the London Marathon
High standard of running
Both the mens and womens winners of the TRIM10 staged on 1 Feb have achieved the qualifying standards for the Rio Olympic marathon in the past fortnight. Martin Fagan and Breege Connolly hit the required mark in Zurich and London respectively. It would be nice to have them back in their Olympic year.
