Well Done to Sean in Dingle

Coming close on the heels of his two top finishes in last months Donegal 10 miler and the Donegal half Sean Murphy headed home to the kingdom for his latest big race. He put the clammy weather of Dingle aside this morning to once again take 2nd spot in the Dingle Marathon in a time of 2h51m.
Great going for the terrain and weather conditions.
In Letterkenny during August he won the M40 grade of the half marathon 1h19m.
There were two club members in the Tullamore Half Marathon, Andrew Revington 1h26 as part of his prep for the NY City marathon later this autumn. Leonie Dyar continued her progression towards DCM2016 with a run of 1h42.
The following day the Longford half took place and Claire Smith ran 1h38. The midland action continued on Sunday 4 Sept with Linda Lewis finishing second overall in the Mullingar 10km.Well done to club members who took part in the Tri an Mhi Sprint Triathlon at Lough Lene,
On Saturday 3 September Ellen Vitting won the womens race by a margin of over 5 minutes. Congratulations to Gearoid Rogers, Anita Rogers, Shane Parkinson, Denis Farrell, Mairead Heffernan, Karen O Shea on their efforts in tough conditions.
In Torremolinos Enda Markey ran an excellent 7th overall in the very novel and testing Steps Race. A lung busting energy sapping race in the town centre which attracts a huge crowd of racers and spectators every year.

Sean Murphy wins age group in Donegal classic
Well Done to Sean Murphy on winning the M40 grade of the Danny McDaid 15km road race in Letterkenny 54m28s.and a wonderful 4th overall.
