Young runners to the fore

Fr Murphy’s AC Athboy Sunday 11th October 2015
There was another great turnout by our under age athletes at Day 2 of the county cross country championships on Sunday. The excellent course set out by the host club Fr Murphy Ac at their Freyne facility was ideal for quality running. The extended summery weather brought out big numbers of runners and supporters from around the county. Our youngsters continued with their good performances which kicked off in style the previous week at Ashbourne. They now look forward to the provincial deciders in Moyvalley GC on Sun25 Oct. Best of luck to all and well done on coming up trumps on the past two Sundays. County teams will be announced during the week and there will be a good representation from Trim turning out in the green and gold.
